In the spirit of full disclosure, I'm going to try to remember to always do a monthly update of the financial state of Wikevent the platform for you the contributors of Wikevent the Open Content events compendium. So, it's the end of the month, and here are the numbers:

Earnings

  • AdSense: $3.30

Expenditures

  • Hosting: $0.00 (we're running on donated servers.. for now)
  • Programming: $0.00 (likewise, I'm doing this for free)

The bottom line

So Wikevent the platform is in the black, sort of, to the tune of just over 4.00 USD, after 3 months of running Google AdSense. That's good because I owe a beer.
