A LIGHT SLEEPER play minimalist, contemplative music that pairs both composed and improvised elements together in creating a seamless whole that engages fully. PUTOIS play sparse, unadorned pop that typically features only guitar and vocals. KINDLE are a sextet, one that plays largely acoustic music that references folk, indie and pop idioms. Another large scale ensemble, LEAF BIRD work through blues, folk and jazz vocabularies in creating quiet pop compositions that are thoroughly listenable.
